We are seeking recent graduates in Engineering with start in 2024!
We are looking for individuals who have completed higher education in computer science, computer technology, software engineering, or equivalent fields. Perhaps you have a different technological background, such as a focus on security or data and analysis, but you want to work in a team of coders? As a consultant at Bekk, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and technologies, with a strong and dynamic professional community to support you.
Working for Some of Norway's Most Important Companies
At Bekk, we specialize in tailoring digital services for several of Norway's most important companies. We often take on large and complex projects, and many of the solutions we develop affect millions of Norwegian users. We assist throughout the process, from identifying needs to finding creative solutions and developing technical solutions. We do this in cross-functional teams with expertise in technology, interaction design, and business development. For technologists, the work involves a good mix of coding, problem-solving, and client advisory.
We believe that lasting and meaningful changes are made by strong and cross-functional teams where it is safe to try and fail. Therefore, you will never work alone on a project but always with several colleagues from Bekk, including experienced consultants and other recent graduates.
Close Guidance from Day One
As a new employee at Bekk, you will be well taken care of. In the first year, we have an extensive onboarding program for all new hires, led by experienced Bekk consultants. Through workshops, case work, and team-building activities, you will get to know how we work and how we make each other better. The program kicks off with a two-week intensive professional and social program in August, where we travel together to an idyllic location in Norway.
When you join a team, you will have a dedicated mentor from Bekk who will help you with technical matters and any other questions you may have about being a consultant on a project. In addition, you will have a dedicated HR contact and a technical leader who will guide you in your career as a consultant.
Specialization in Your Field of Interest
At Bekk, we want you to have the freedom to delve into what you find most exciting. We have a wide range of assignments with over 40 clients in Oslo and Trondheim, and we place great emphasis on finding the team that best aligns with your interests. For example, you can specialize in frontend, backend, infrastructure, security, data analysis, or cloud solutions. Perhaps you are more of a generalist and want to try a bit of everything? You will have great opportunities with us.
Since professional development is so important to us, we allocate some of your work time to building expertise in areas that interest us. Among the interest groups we have this year are Algorithms & Gadgets, React, Applied Data Science and Machine Learning, Functional Programming, Kotlin, Security, and Robust Cloud Architecture.
