All of the corps' company boards include both students and representatives from the business world. As a student, you are a representative of all members of the union and get the opportunity to influence and express ideas and opinions.

You must be committed and be interested in learning more about board work! It is also important to have the opportunity to sit on the board for a three-year term, this is for the continuity of the board so that you can best represent the members of the corps. The assignment spans three years, of which the last two are as a board member and the first as a deputy.

As a student member, you will meet all student representatives in all the union's companies. It is an opportunity to work together to better represent the members and to get help and support in the work of the board. Your commitment is an important part of your future contact network!

There are also vacant positions in two other company boards, these are Chalmers student union recruitment and Gothenburg students' business group (GSF). As a student member of the boards of these companies, you sit for a two-year mandate.

Chalmers recruitment is the student union's own recruitment company and works to increase contact between students and companies. Here we are looking for two student members.

GSF is a parent company to the physics that mainly works with managing its properties on Gibraltargatan. We are looking for a member for GSF, you can read more about GSF here

A game jam is being held next weekend:
Welcome to participate in a game jam during Culture Night where we build games inspired by historical images, text and film around Avenyn and Götaplatsen . The jam is organized by Higab , RISE and the University of Gothenburg and takes place in the Glashuset in the center of Gothenburg during Culture Night and the associated weekend. As this coincides with the last weekend in October, we also bring in the autumnal atmosphere and invite ghost stories and dark omens.

During the jam, we will have access to a series of archive tools to be more easily inspired by the history of the places, these are the same as those used during previous game jams, Tidernas Gothenburg 2021 and 2022 .

Non-Swedish participants are very welcome, organizers can speak English!

Would you like to use your engineering skills in real international projects? Right now Engineers Without Borders Chalmers has several vacant positions. Currently, we have a project in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in Ghana and a construction project in Tanzania. You don't need to be far along in your education or have previous experience to apply. What's important is that you have an interest in learning more. Not just any games, mind you. Game Jams! The first one for this academic year is our Spooky Game Jam 2023!
Please join us on 13th - 15th October @ Kuggen, Lindholmen Campus!
During this weekend you will receive a theme and a goal. The theme is secret for now ... but the goal is to make a game based on the theme!
It is loads of fun and you get to enjoy the game-making experience. That is fine if you do not know how to make a game, you learn on the go!

Hello students!
Two insanely cool but not well-known groups will have an election now during the section meeting LP1. This applies to the Candidate Dinner Group (KMG) and the Alumni Dinner Group (AMG). These two groups have similar goals, to arrange a formal dinner party!

The candidate dinner group is selected every year and arranges a formal dinner for all the section's candidates, the students who this year are studying their third year at the Software Engineering Student Division (IT). The alumni dinner group is elected every 3 years and arranges an alumni dinner where students and alumni of he Software Engineering Student Division (IT) are all invited to a great dinner.

On Monday 25/9 the Candidate Dinner Group will attend the engagement fair and talk about their business and answer questions. As there is no sitting alumni dinner group, they are also happy to answer questions about the alumni dinner as their activities are very similar.

Do you want to influence who teaches at Chalmers? Do you want to gain good insight into interview processes and represent student opinions in a recruitment context? Do you want to make good contacts within the Chalmers organisation? Then you should become a student representative in the employment committee. In addition to participating in interview and recruitment processes and representing students' opinions towards the university, a fee for the time spent is also included.
