Right now, there are no nominations to ArmIT or digIT, but that also means there are plenty of seats available in both committées.
So, here's a bit of a sales pitch for both the committées, and why you should apply for them.
As a member of ArmIT, you'll be able to network and work with companies in the Software Engineering bussiness and you might meet just the people who can offer you your future part or fulltimejob. You'll also get inside knowledge about how to be extra attractive to companies, and the oppurtunity to market the Division to companies and make sure the Division can spend a whole bunch of money on things such as coffeé at Hubben and The Cloud. But most importantly, have fun and meet lots of new people.
As digIT (here i'm even able to write from my own experience) you'll be able to help develop the digital services of the Division, and learn a great deal about how webdevelopment, servers and working in projects outside of the school might be.
Also, MRCIT, the Master Reception Commmitté remains vacant after the last division meeting. As a member of MRCIT, you'll get to plan and realize a reception for the new master students at MPIDE and MPSOF and make sure the start of their time as master students becomes as enjoyable as possible.
If you'd like to know more about any of the committeés, you can of course ask the committeés, or in the case of MRCIT, you can contact styrIT. If you decide to apply, you need only nominate yourself at the student division meeting this Thursday.
If you want to apply for Chairman or treasurer you need to contact the nomination committee (Valberedningen) at valberedningen@chalmers.it and tell them you intend to nominate yourself for the position. But nothing more needs to be done before the division meeting.
Note that for both digIT and ArmIT, Swedish is the primary language.
