Trans Awareness Week is acknowledged each year to celebrate the improvements that have been made for trans people's rights and to spotlight the problems that still need fixing. Trans Awareness Week takes place every year during the week leading up to Trans Remembrance Day the 20/11 where we remember everyone hurt by violence directed toward trans people.
