Welcome welcome, the time has come to volunteer as tribute in LaggIT's Minecraft Hunger Games.
You and your fellow volunteers will fight/mine to the death in our arena, for the entertainment of IT.
The hunger games will take place remotely on the laggIT discord server on the late evening of 21 November.
All you need is a copy of minecraft (java). Cake decoration skills are optional.

But how does this magical "Docker" work, and how does it (partially ) stop our devops from having mental breakdowns?

digIT 21 has been assembled, and with that digIT 20 has entered its handover period.
Since physical workshops are still impossible, we have decided to offer parts of our education to the public for the good of IT.

On thursday (2021/03/04), digIT 20 presents "Terminals 101"; an introduction lecture for terminals!

Git is a powerful tool, and as IT students it's important to know the basics.

Between 18:00 and 20:00, december 8th, we will go through the fundementals of git. First with a lecture given by di(gIT)s Sylle, followed by a short Q&A.

Hacktoberfest is an event, hosted by Digital Ocean, where free tshirts are given to developers who produce a certain amount of contributions to projects with open sourcecode. And your in luck, since open source projects in dire need of contributions is something digIT has an abundance of!
So come down to our workshop on thursday 17:30, and we can help you help us fix and improve IT's software, for tshirts!
