Each year the student division and the Program board awards the Pedagogical Prize to the person who has done the most in the form of pedagogical contributions during the past year. The pedagogical prize includes, apart from the great honor of receiving it, the ticket price for the evening and a substantial check. We need your help in this matter! Send us your nomination for the person you think is worthy of the price. It can be a teacher, student or anything in between that you feel has made a large pedagogical contribution during the calendar year 2018 (VT18/HT18). The winner will be chosen among the nominees by a jury that snIT will compose, and the winner will be announced during a glamorous dinner party.

The information below is relevant for students who did or is doing their bachelor studies in the D, IT and E-programme at Chalmers, hence only in Swedish.

För ett tag sedan postades en nyhet om mentorprogrammet på E,D och IT (MEDIT) (informationen har kopierats in nedan). Även om sista deadline har passerat för att anmäla sig inför detta har vi nu fått höra att det finns en ledig plats kvar för en IT-student.

Som adept får du inblick i arbetslivet och möjlighet att knyta många värdefulla kontakter med personer från näringslivet. Adepten kan även genom sin mentor få möjligheten att reflektera över tankar och idéer, hitta sina drivkrafter som får moraliskt stöd och karriärvägledning.

I år har vi fått in mentorer från företag som Burt, Sqeed, Consid, Huawei, Ghost, m.m att ställa upp för IT-studenter och ge en unik möjlighet att utvecklas. Anmäla dig redan nu! Observera att anmäningen inför Medit 2018 stänger den 22 Januari.

It is almost two weeks until the dinner party for the Pedagogical Prize will take place. This year we have received a lot of nominations, so thank you to those who took the time to nominate your teachers and TAs. Hello everyone! snIT would like to remind you that today is the last day to sign up for your exams. Remember that it is now mandatory to sign up, so if you forget to do so you will not be allowed to write the exam.

We would also like to remind you to nominate your teachers and assistants for the Pedagogical Prize! It is an honourable prize awarded to someone who has made a large pedagogical contribution, and the prize will be awarded during a glamorous dinner party in February. Remember that you may also nominate teachers/assistants you had in study period 3 and 4, and the registration form will close during the end of study period 2!

Look here look here! The MANDATORY registration for exams closes this Thursday (5/10), so make sure that you are signed up for your exams before then! Or else you will not be allowed to write the exam.

As of study period 1, it will be completely mandatory to register for exams. This means that it will no longer be possible to arrive at exam day without having registered for it. If it is the case that you have forgotten, you will unfortunately be sent home again.

On the 28th of November, 6.31pm, FanbärerIT is hosting a Cheese & Wine evening in Hubben 2.1.

Tickets will be sold here, on Chalmers.it, this Tuesday (21/11), at 12:00. A link will be posted, where will you will be able to fill in your e-mail address. You will then get an e-mail saying if you got a spot or not.
