On February 28th, it's time for the annual meeting again. It will be held at Hubben 2.2 at 17:31 PM.
Please note that to attend the annual meeting, you need to be a member of DrawIT. You can become a member at https://chalmers.it/en/committees/drawit

Please note that the meeting will primarily be held in swedish.

Hello adventurers! DrawIT welcomes you to an exciting night of adventure, food, and entertainment on January 24th at 18:31 in Hubben 2.2.

Hello IT students!
Are you interested in learning how you can get involved within the IT student division? If so, you should join us at the Engagement Fair on the 25th of September! The election committee will provide food (if you sign up here), inform you about the election and aspiration process within the IT student division, and then we invite you to mingle with our beloved committees and associations, where you'll have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions.

Soon it is time for aspiration for Cloudlords! But you might be wondering, what or who are the Cloudlords? It is IT:s newly founded Rustmästeri (= a committee responsible for maintenance of student division premises). Do you want to be a part of the first of the Cloudlords? Do you want to help and make the Cloud a better place? Or maybe you just want to hold fun activities on Lindholmen? Then you should come to the aspiration evening and learn more!

Do you love League of Legends or Counter-Strike? We are thrilled to present this year's coolest gaming event for students. On September 29-30, the student championships (Student-SM) in League of Legends and Counter-Strike will be held at Inferno Online in Gothenburg. This is a part of the Academic Games, one of the largest sporting events of the year for all university students in Sweden, featuring 11 different sports competitions during the same weekend in Gothenburg. In addition to the sports, there will be a grand closing banquet and several other social events, all to create the best community of the year.
Whether you're Global or Silver Elites in CS, Challengers or Bronze in LoL, you are warmly welcome to join. Find all the details about the Academic Games and the Student-SM in E-Sports at www.akademiskaspelen.se.

The student union is currently looking for two persons for Chalmers Employment Committe! The committe handles the employment and promotion of academical services on Chalmers (university lecturers, associate professors, professors, ...). As a student representative in the employment committe you get to be part of the whole recruitmentprocess, from announcement of the appointment to interview and employment. The assignment is renumerated for the hours of work you put in and amounts to approximately 1-2 whole day meetings on a Wednesday with preparation time before.

The student union has a free position as a representative in the group for change for Gothenburg's center for sustainable development, GMV, that works with looking over how the cooperative work between Chalmers and GU should function in the future. There will be three 1 hour meetings during this autumn where you'll be able to meet and discuss different questions about the work.
Below is a short text about the work from the current student representative:
"Keeping it short the work is about reorganization of Gothenburg's center for sustainable development (GMV), which is a joint organization between Chalmers and GU. This in both purpose, responsibility and form. During the spring has the management team discussed ideas about how this new organization will look and how the cooperation between the universities and other actors in the area will work. I think personally that it's been incredibly interesting to be get a look in to how this kind of work is done, and that it's been a favor to be in the same management team as several competent and inspiring people from both of the universities.
By the turn of the year the new organization/platform will start, and the goal with the autumns meetings is to be involved and discuss the agreement that will apply between the universities, and be of support in decisions to the project leader (Pam Fredman). I would also like to emphasize that this is a great opportunity to not only influence and get insight into such a big reorganization, and a very good opportunity to learn and get inspired by competent and committed people"
