In the equality study performed earlier this year, one thing, in particular, stood out: the request for arrangements with a focus on girls, preferably with past students invited. Therefore StyrIT will arrange a girls' dinner next Tuesday the 7/5, this to give a forum to discuss how it is to be a girl in the IT department as well as in the work life. The dinner will be held at Chalmers Johanneberg at 7 pm. We hope that as many as possible want to show up, but since we don't have unlimited spots it will be the principle of first come, first served. Snacks and dinner will be served during the evening and there will be drinks to purchase. The dinner will cost 40 KR to attend, including food.

The student voice, Studentrösten, is a meeting point for all students at Chalmers to express your opinion and make a difference through your student division. It's hosted by reps from your division board amongst others. The student voice for the IT-department will be held on Thursday 11/4 8-13 in Hubben 2.1 and online. There will be candy for everyone that makes their voice heard!

/StyrIT and SnIT

Which places at Chalmers Campus do you like? Where are your favourite places and which places could be improved? These are some of the questions we want to answer in this questionnaire survey. The aim is to better understand how the Chalmers Campus areas are being used and experienced by students, staff and visitors.

It takes approx. 5-10 min to answer the questionnaire. You will be asked to mark 5 types of places and draw path on a campus map. There are instruction with in the questionnaire for the different parts. You can also chose which campus you would to give you thoughts on. Link : https://app.maptionnaire.com/sv/5124/

The results will be used to give input to Campus development projects and the research project VirtualCities@chalmers.se. The results will also be shared with property owners and user: Chalmers, Chalmers fastigheter, and Akademiska hus. Responsible for the study are researchers from the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering (ACE) lead by Liane Thuvander, liane.thuvander@chalmers.se.

Today is the start of Speak Up - Talk about equality! At 15.00 there will be a mingle in the student union building, where several equality groups are in place with fun activities. The purpose of these lectures will be to create a forum where we can discuss anything that has to do with your studies at the IT-program (courses, study plan, study environment, course selection etc.)

Program information IT3: tisdag 25 september at 12-13.
