It is soon time for the annual meeting for 8-bIT and it will be physical instead of remote. We will be in Hubben and aim to begin the meeting at 17:31.

On the meeting we will present the operations for the current year, plan for the next year and elect a new board! We will also discuss motions that have been sent to us. If you have a motion we can be reached at 8-bit@chalmers.it. Remember that the last day to send motions is 1/5, the day before the meeting.

Hello to those of you who have done or are doing your Bachelor's thesis!

Now it's time to sign up for the long-awaited Bachelor's dinner! For those of you who have not heard of this, the bachelor's dinner is a fancy dinner where you celebrate having received a bachelor's degree. It's an opportunity for you to meet your classmates and have a great evening. Due to the current pandemic, it has not been possible to hold candidate dinners for IT17 and IT18. With the new restrictions, there is now the possibility to hold a combined dinner for those of you who have studied your bachelor's thesis in 2020 and 2021.

Please note that you can only attend the candidate dinner as a candidate once and that the event is completely free of charge!

The date of dinner is as follows:
IT17 and IT18 : 14 May
IT19: 26 May

The location is traditionally kept secret and will be announced at a later date.

Wednesday study week 7 (4/3) at 18:01 DrawIT will host the yearly meeting, where we discuss the current state of DrawIT and elect a new management.

Cozy down in a comfortable soffa or seat with something nice to drink and leave the exam regrets behind you, we chairmen promise you an evening which you won't forget :)

It may be a new study year and many new faces, but it is the good old same evening where we can all code to our heart's joy with a bit of wine or other drink close to hand. In this evening you can get help or help us with code problems, maybe learn something new and exciting, or just have a relaxing evening with us :)

We in digIT hosts workshops in Hubben on Thursdays 17:00 from study week 2 to 7.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of previous knowledge.

Magic again!? Does it never end? Either way, the yearly Core-set is on the doorstep, and DrawIT will as per usual organize a prerelease.

The prerelease is a way to play Magic wherein you as a player will be provided cards on the spot to construct a deck out of, and is because of that an excellent opportunity for old and new players alike to try the new cards on an even playing field.
