Hey! The "aspning" for LP3 will start soon. Here is some information on what "aspning" is, which committees hold "aspning" and how to proceed to participate!
What is "aspning"?
It is a period when people who are interested in joining a committee get to test the committee's work and get the chance to meet and get to know the current committee and other aspar (aspar = aspiring, the students who participate in "aspning"). It is a period of about a month when different committees organize fun and interesting events!
You do not have to apply to a committee just because you participate in "aspning" (but if you want to apply, you should participate, to get to know other the work and other applicants).
Aspning LP3
ArmIT, DigIT and FlashIT organize aspning LP3 (information about the various committees can be found at chalmers.it/pages). Each committee has about 1 event per week. There is no overlap, so if you want to participate in "aspning" with more than one committee, you can. Schedules will be posted in the committees' Slack channels below.
It starts this week and will be held online. Below is information on when the committees have their kickoffs and which Slack channel you can join (further information regarding kickoffs and events will be in the channels):
FlashIT
Kickoff Wednesday 20/1
#flashit-aspning-2021
ArmIT
Kickoff Thursday 21/1
#aspa-armit2021
DigIT
Kickoff Friday 22/1

If you are a master student (from a different bachelor programme) and are interested in participating, please contact me on e-mail: schaffh@chalmers.it. The slack channels are in the IT workspace which master students who didn't attend the Software Engineering bachelor don't have access too.
