Phadders - The true heroes of the reception
We are not the only ones who award pedagogical prizes to those who do make great pedagogical contributions for the students. Every year since 2006, Chalmers has awarded a pedagogical prize to encourage and draw attention to good pedagogical examples in higher education.
The prize money of 100 000 kr is usually split between three winners, and it is now possible to send in nominations.

Each year the student division and the Program board awards the Pedagogical Prize to the person who has done the most in the form of pedagogical contributions during the past year. The pedagogical prize includes, apart from the great honor of receiving it, the ticket price for the evening and a substantial check. We need your help in this matter! Send us your nomination for the person you think is worthy of the price. It can be a teacher, student or anything inbetween that you feel has made a large pedagogical contribution during the calendar year 2017 (VT17/HT17). The winner will be chosen among the nominees by a jury that snIT will compose, and the winner will be announced during a glamorous dinner party.

We've released the sign-up for interviews regarding StyrIT, snIT, FrITid and FanbärerIT. While the sign-up form is in Swedish we gladly hold interviews in English as well. If you so wish, or need a translation of the sign-up, contact us through mail. Deadline for the sign-up is set to 23:59 the 16th of April.
Following the new disposition contract, all students, no matter which student division they are part of, get access to all lunch rooms. This means anyone with a student union card will have access to Hubben between 7:45-15:15. Since multiple thefts have occurred in Hubben in a short period of time, we all have to consider whether an unknown person is actually allowed inside or sneaked in. If, for some reason, one wouldn't be comfortable confronting an unknown person, please ask another student to, in order to avoid more thefts.
Expand your mind, consciousness and brain by attending 8-bIT gamenight, compete in the WarioWare tournament aand by eating ECs wonderful food. Be there or be square!
This position can not be applied for if you are not fluent in swedish.

NollKIT are going to hold an information night regarding the "phaddring" during the reception for the new students enrolling this autumn. The phaddring this year is going to change compared to former years, so for people who has been phadders before this night is still very important to attend. What does it really mean to be a phadder?

On the twenty-third of March it's time to head on in to Hubben and enter Chalmers' own small slice of the East. P.R.I.T. invites you to our Korean Karaoke Pub!
Come on over and eat waffles, eat good food, drink tasty drinks, and sing, sing, sing! Don't worry if you're not a big fan of singing yourself, you can always come and enjoy watching people try to (and fail to) sing along with a fast and catchy K-pop song. But the fun doesn't end there! We'll be offering to put on make-up for you to feel like a true K-pop star, and from our kitchen we'll be serving a great wok to help you dream yourself away from a Gothenburg that can't seem to decide what season it wants to be in.
New for this period's pub is that we'll be offering vegan waffles along with our super tasty regular waffles.
So when the spring(?) sun starts heading down towards the west, come on in to us in the east.
