Nominate a Star for the Jubilee Fund 2024!
Are you ready to recognize a Chalmerist who truly makes a difference? Now is the time to nominate for the CING Jubilee Fund Scholarship for 2024 – a chance to reward those who strengthen the bonds between Chalmers alumni and students with 10,000 SEK!
We are looking for individuals or groups who, like last year's winners Anna Molnö and Balliancen, have shown exceptional ability to unite, inspire, and engage. Perhaps they have created a mentorship program that unites generations of Chalmerists, or perhaps they have spread joy and solidarity on and off campus through music and dance?
Nominate here (by March 17, 2024): https://lnkd.in/dF7KaVrD
Remember, to be eligible, the nominee must be a member of the Chalmers Student Union or Chalmers Alumni Association, aka CING.
For inspiration and to learn more about previous winners, visit Chalmers Jubilee Fund: https://lnkd.in/d2mGiDHb
Let's together celebrate those who build bridges and create lasting bonds within the Chalmers community. Your nomination can make a difference!
Do you think the student union is perfect? No?
The candidature for the Student Union Council (often called FuM, short for Fullmäktige) is in full swing. The council is the highest governing body within Chalmers student union consisting of 35 democratically elected members.
If you want to be one of the 35 members who get to decide what the union looks like and how it functions during the next study year, go to fumval.se to candidate. You can also candidate together with other members as a coalition (like a political party).
The three divisions which present the most candidates will be rewarded with great amounts of candy.
And if all divisions present at least one candidate, we will reward the entire union with free cake.
To canidate go to fumval.se

The next student division meeting is upon us and this is your chance to show your opinions and change how the division should work.
Changes within the student division are made by sending in a motion.
It can be difficult to write a motion if you've never done it before, so styrIT will be holding a workshop for writing motions.

We in frITid are soon old and bitter, but before we are dragged into the retirement home (group room) we want to do something crazy. The problem is, we're not sure what. So we'll let you decide, should we get PTSD at the Paintball Factory or cosplay Paul Walker with some Go Kart. Below you see a form where you can vote! The scar will take place at the end of March regardless of whether it is Go Kart or Paintball.

The primary language of the IT student division is Swedish, and as such the student division meeting and relevant documents will primarily be in Swedish as well. If you have any questions, feel free to send them to styrit@chalmers.it.
The student division meeting will be held on Thursday the 22nd of February at 17:30 in HC4.
As a division member, you can have free food during the meeting by signing up before February 18th. The signup form can be found here.
A draft of the agenda will be published on chalmers.it at the latest of five days before the meeting together with the meeting documents. Below are some meeting points that will surely occur during the meeting.
All committees!
We in MötespresidIT, as well as styrIT will try to be as pedagogical as possible about what is happening during the meeting. However there could be something we miss, and in the end it is the responsibility of each student division member to know how a meeting works.
Do you think something about the student division should change? Write a motion about it and present it at the meeting! Motions need to be sent to styrIT (styrit@chalmers.it) seven study days before the meeting at the very latest on February 13th. If you want help with wording or just have any questions, feel free to contact styrIT at styrit@chalmers.it or write in #motioner on Slack.
Don't hesitate to contact styrIT or MötespresidIT if you have any questions or if something is unclear.
Welcome!

styrIT Arranges Exclusive Student Barometer swedish fika - A Tasty Fusion of Knowledge and Sweetness
styrIT, the distinguished board of the IT division, is pleased to announce the upcoming event "Student Barometer fika". This unique and engaging event is designed to create a relaxed and rewarding atmosphere where students can reflect on their year at Chalmers while enjoying a delicious dose of sweetness.
##Why participate?
styrIT understands that students sometimes need a break to reflect on their study life. Student Barometer swedish fika offers a perfect opportunity to do so while enjoying a well-deserved sweet treat.
##Why does coffee increase one's ability to answer surveys?
Probably because they already have a sweet tooth and absolutely love coffee! Just as students enjoy a good bite of “chocolaty vacuum cleaner”, it seems they've also developed an appetite for putting their thoughts down and answering surveys. A perfect combination of sweet and wise - just like our upcoming student barometer coffee!

When? Thursday 8/2 12:00
