The exam week is over, and the re-exams is a given, but fear not! Because this Saturday (the 17th of Mars) at 18.01 P.R.I.T. and digIT will open up the Hubben doors and welcome you all into the warmth. Settle down in a comfortable couch or chair with something cold to drink and do your best to leave the anxiety behind you and we promise that you'll get to experience a totally okay evening. <3

Are you excited to try what it's like to study abroad, or are you just looking for an awesome experience this summer? : D
BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) is a society at Chalmers that organizes summer courses that might be of interest for you. The courses are organized by other BEST local groups around Europe (but you do not have to be a member to apply!), and they are basically a combination between reception and exchange studies, but compressed into 1-2 weeks. During the day you have academic activities, afterwards you discover the city or do other fun stuff, and in the evening you will meet with the local students organizing the event plus the 21 other students from around Europe who are on the course. ;)
Overall, you have at least 51 courses in 20 different countries to choose from (and you do not have to choose courses within your area).
More practicals: All Chalmers students can apply, and if you are accepted, you will have to decide if you want to go or not by the end of March. It is free to apply, but if you are accepted and decide to go, you have to pay a small fee of max 500 SEK, and for that amount, you get accommodation, food and all activities during the stay abroad. In other words, it's cheap. : D
So if you want to try how it is to study abroad or just want an awesome experience, then I would highly recommend checking out summer courses! :)

Lindholmsfestivalen is Chalmers only music festival that will be arranged on the 12th of
May this year close by the water out on the pier at Campus Lindholmen. It is a one-day
festival open between 15.00 to 24.00 with a promise of good music and good vibes. During
the day all visitors will be able to enjoy performances from seven different artists, different
activities within the festival area, good food and drinks to the cost of beneficial Chalmers
prices. It's going to be an amazing day were you together with other students from all over
campus have an opportunity to celebrate that summer is just around the corner.
Artist releases and ticket sales will soon start so make sure that you like our Facebook page
to get your hands on a ticket to Chalmers only festival.

Last year StyrIT ordered hoodies for those IT-students who wanted one. The design can be seen in the google form. We have no exact price as of now, since it will vary based on interest. If you sign-up expect to pay around 400 SEK for your hoodie.

För ett tag sedan postades en nyhet om mentorprogrammet på E,D och IT (MEDIT) (informationen har kopierats in nedan). Även om sista deadline har passerat för att anmäla sig inför detta har vi nu fått höra att det finns en ledig plats kvar för en IT-student.

25:th of February, we head for Isaberg Mountain Resort, southern Sweden's largest piste-system. The perfect way to end the weekend!
The day will start at Chalmers at 7:00 and we'll be back around 19:00.
The IT section pays for transportation, all you have to pay for is a skipass (340kr) and rental equipment if you need that. It is possible to rent at the ski location, if you wish to do so it is recommended to book equipment beforehand at http://skidshop.se/uthyrning
Food is not provided but can be bought at the slopes.
