We have seen that there is an interest for resume portrait photography at IT, and so we want to inform about our participation in DatE-IT.
Now on Thursday, the DatE-IT fair is held in the SB building. During the fair, FlashIT and DFoto will have a studio set up where visitors can have their portraits taken. Winter and the period for summer job applications are fast approaching, so take the opportunity to secure your resume photo now on Thursday!

This Friday we will play a sport called “multiball” in order to hopefully suit everyone with something. For those of you who have not heard the expression before, it’s a combination of different sports where two teams play against each other but the sports and also the number of players vary in each round. Fast workout (with a risk for some confusion), but with a lot of fun! Everyone is welcome, beginners as well as experienced.
Afterwards the pool and sauna are ready as usual :)

Hi everyone!
Each year the student division and the Program board awards the Pedagogical Prize to the person who has done the most in the form of pedagogical contributions during the past year. The pedagogical prize includes, apart from the great honor of receiving it, the ticket price for the evening and a substantial check. We need your help in this matter! Send us your nomination for the person you think is worthy of the price. It can be a teacher, student or anything in between that you feel has made a large pedagogical contribution during the calendar year 2020(VT20/HT20). The winner will be chosen among the nominees by a jury that snIT will compose, and the winner will be announced during a glamorous dinner party.
It is time to sign up for interviews with the election committee!
To be nominated you have to go an interview, but you can still nominate yourself at the student division meeting even if you don’t go to an interview! However if you want to nominate yourself as chairman or treasurer and do not sign up for an interview you need to contact the election committee (valberedningen@chalmers.it) at least 24 hours before the student division meeting.
If you are unsure whether you want to sign up or not, make sure to do it anyhow, it can’t hurt! If you need to contact the election committee for some reason then please contact valberedningen@chalmers.it

Now the exams are over, a new study period is starting and it's perfect to get started with our Friday activities again! friTid invites you to play ultimate frisbee with us tomorrow. We meet at Guldheden södra (the soccer fields at Fysiken) changed and dressed for outdoor weather to have a good workout! Afterwards, as usual, there will be access to a sauna and changing rooms in the union building.

Hello everyone!
Due to a motion that was voted through at the last section meeting, we thought it might be good to clarify what now applies regarding which food will be served at events.
In short, the motion states that all food financed/hosted by the section (incl. associations) must be lacto-ovo-vegetarian. However, if the organizer wants, the guest can choose an alternative that is not lacto-ovo-vegetarian, but then it must not be cheaper to choose that option. That is, if you want meat or the like at events, lunch lectures, etc., you must make an active choice for it.
All this will take effect on November 1 (tomorrow, LP2 LV1) and the motion will be brought up again at the student division meeting LP4 to evaluate how it has gone. If you have any constructive feedback, feel free to send it to styrit@chalmers.it

While we’re longing for CM in Handball next Tuesday, it's time to collect registrations for the next CM in turn, namely floorball! Of course, we would also like to get a team together that can represent our section!

We now have a Master thesis opportunity to be part of designing and developing the graphic interface for our display in industrial applications.
The thesis consists of providing an user experience to the software implementation team. This includes conducting research to secure usability, meeting customer needs, future proofing while working in an swift, fun, collaborative environment at CPAC.
We envision an interface which our customers will perceive as modern, intuitive, flexible with an edge, providing a feeling of sustainability and easy of integration and operation.
This is one example of what you can do if you choose to write your Master thesis here at CPAC. We work closely with the students of Gothenburg and have every spring new opportunities of technical challenging projects in our company. Whether if one of our projects speaks to you or if you want to come with an idea of your own, we want to give you freedom to think creatively.

This November, three opportunities will be offered by the student union in cooperation with Medborgarskolan and Suicide Zero to all Chalmers students. At the course you will be taught about how to spot signs of psychological illness and what you can do if you suspect that a friend or colleague might be having a hard time. All occasions will be via zoom and it is first come, first serve if the number of applications would supersede the maximum capacity.
