The Programme Management Team of the IT department now invites to lunch lectures in study period 1. The purpose of these lectures will be to create a forum where we can discuss anything that has to do with your studies at the IT-program (courses, study plan, study environment, course selection etc.)

The program will offer lunch baguettes and drinks. Vegan, onion-, nut- and gluten free alternative exists.

At the next section meeting it's the time to choose new election committee and therefore we are looking for people interested in the position. As a member of the election committee you will conduct interviews and present nominations for the other committies at the IT student division

There is no prerequisite for any of the positions but it is an important assignment where you will have the opportunity to learn a lot.

On Monday 24/09 17:00 in the hubben grouproom we will explain what it's like to be a member of the election committeeand tell you a little more about applying, etc.

At the next section meeting it's the time to choose new lay auditors and data protection representatives and therefore we are looking for people interested in the positions. As a lay auditor, you review the section's finances and activities to ensure that we comply with laws, and that the elected representatives perform their duties, as a data protection representative review the section's data management to ensure that we comply with the law and that all data is handled in a good way.

There is no prerequisite for any of the positions but it is an important assignment where you will have the opportunity to learn a lot.

On Thursday 27/09 17:00 in the hubben grouproom we will explain what it's like to be an accountant and data protection representative and tell you a little more about applying, etc.

By doodle, we will decide a time for a second meeting when you'll get to try the position of an accountant or data protection officer.

On October 4th, 17:00 we meet up one last time and do something fun.

Hi all IT students!

In the beginning of January every year a conference is held here on Chalmers about pedagogy called "Konferens om Undervisning och Lärande" or "KUL". The purpose with KUL is to promote the sharing in teaching and learning within Chalmers' educational activities.

The proceedings of the conference come from Chalmers employees and have to go through a review committee. This is where you come in! The review committee has to consist of 3 students which can be involved and make sure that the sessions during the conference are good. As a reviewer you will learn more about pedagogy and how Chalmers works. The assignment will take about 15h spread over the coming six months up to Christmas. If this sounds like something you or someone you know would be interested in, don't hesitate to contact us immediately.

This year Sweden has the great honor to host EuroPride! An international pride festival that between 14-19th
of August will be held in Gothenburg with people from all over the world. This means the pride parade will be
even bigger and more colorful than before. The parade will be held 18th of August and we, the student
equality committee JämK, have applied to participate with all members of the Chalmers Student Union.

I hope you have a great holiday. As you all may know the “Rustvecka” are in the full work and P.R.I.T. are trying to make hubben as good as possible. One thing that we have decided to do is to polishing of the floor.

When polishing floors, is it really important that no one sets a footprint or tread the floor during the dry time because of unhealthy air and the floor might be destroyed. That's why I kindly ask you to not visit Hubben 18-19 June (Monday-Tuesday).
