We in styrIT and the speaker of the student division meeting will try to be as pedagogical as possible with what happens during the meeting, but it's possible that we might miss something and in the end it's up to each section member to know what applies to a student division meeting.
Therefore, there is a manual to student division meetings, which we recommend that you read. Rules for the student division meeting can also be read, and are determined, in the regulations, at page five and forward. If anything still is unclear during the student division meeting, it's of course okay to raise your hand and ask.

Hello students!
Two insanely cool but not well-known groups will have an election now during the section meeting LP1. This applies to the Candidate Dinner Group (KMG) and the Alumni Dinner Group (AMG). These two groups have similar goals, to arrange a formal dinner party!
The candidate dinner group is selected every year and arranges a formal dinner for all the section's candidates, the students who this year are studying their third year at the Software Engineering Student Division (IT). The alumni dinner group is elected every 3 years and arranges an alumni dinner where students and alumni of he Software Engineering Student Division (IT) are all invited to a great dinner.
On Monday 25/9 the Candidate Dinner Group will attend the engagement fair and talk about their business and answer questions. As there is no sitting alumni dinner group, they are also happy to answer questions about the alumni dinner as their activities are very similar.

On Monday 25/9, we in styrIT will hold an aspire lunch before a potential student division meeting.
So what is styrIT, you might ask? styrIT is the IT section's board and works as a spider in the web. They ensure that all section bodies carry out their work and help and support where needed. In addition to this, we also run our own projects, such as expanding the section premises and getting a section car, attending meetings and making sure that the section's operates smoothly.

IDrott (data's sports committee) will organize the Chalmers Championship in Kubb and of course we want teams that represent our very nice section. The championship takes place on October 8 in the Slottskogen between Linnéplatsen and the Botaniska Trädgården (approximately by Café Björngårdsvillan). The event starts at 14:00 and will last a few hours. Each team may consist of 2-6 players and the teams are registered in the form here:

My name is Anna Hansen. I graduated from Engineering Physics at Chalmers in 1993. I work at Ericsson as a System Architect with the development of the Packet Core part of the 5G Core system. My talk will focus on our journey developing the 5G Core System, which has some interesting challenges and opportunities with microservice architecture in the telco domain.
