The Cloud is taken care of by a group of students called "Cloudlords" who helps the student division keep The Cloud clean and obtains supplies when needed.

Medit is a mentorship program at Chalmers which takes place over 6 months, and is aimed towards students in the years 2-5 at Software-engineering, Electrical engineering and Biomedical engineering.

Both parties have a lot to gain from mentorship. It can be viewed as a collaboration which gives the mentor an opportunity to share their experiences.
The mentor is also given the opportunity to self-reflection in their dialogue with their mentees, and can practice their leadership where humility, openness and ability to be a team-player is the foundations of the relationship. Thanks to the mentor, the mentee gains the opportunity to reflect on different thoughts and ideas, to realize their motivations and get moral support and career guidance.

Mentor EDIT is a collaboration between Elektroteknologsektionen and Teknologsektionen Informationsteknik at Chalmers.

Meeting rules and guide

We in styrIT and the speaker of the student division meeting will try to be as pedalogical as possible with what happens during the meeting, but it's possible that we might miss something and in the end it's up to each section member to know what applies to a student division meeting.

Therefore, there is a manual to student division meetings, which we recommend that you read. Rules for the student division meeting can also be read, and are determined, in the regulations, at page five and forward. If anything still is unclear during the student division meeting it's of course okay to raise your hand and ask.

Hello to those of you who have done or are doing your Bachelor's thesis!

Now it's time to sign up for the long-awaited Bachelor's dinner! For those of you who have not heard of this, the bachelor's dinner is a fancy dinner where you celebrate having received a bachelor's degree. It's an opportunity for you to meet your classmates and have a great evening. Due to the current pandemic, it has not been possible to hold candidate dinners for IT17 and IT18. With the new restrictions, there is now the possibility to hold a combined dinner for those of you who have studied your bachelor's thesis in 2020 and 2021.

Please note that you can only attend the candidate dinner as a candidate once and that the event is completely free of charge!

Opera is building a new gaming platform that will reach our millions of daily browser users. Together with our sister company Yoyo Games and our gaming browser team (Opera GX) we aim to bring user generated multiplayer games to the masses straight in the browser.

This is an opportunity to join their front-end team in Gothenburg Sweden, which has a unicorn track-record, to build the next big thing. You will work on the web platform that will support both game developers and allow players to play games together, join tournaments and socialise. We’re looking for developers with a passion for technology.

An ideal candidate is currently living in Gothenburg or willing to relocate, though we are open to discussing remote positions for the right candidate.
