The next major esports tournament: the StarCraft II Chalmers Championship 2020 (SCC20), sponsored by Inet AB, will be starting NEXT WEEK!

There will be representatives from our division in each of the four groups during next week, and hopefully someone of them will move through to the playoffs for the week following.

On Wednesday it is game night, sign up.

On Wednesday (7/10) it’s time for another game night which means it’s time to sign up. It will be a bit different from last time: we have decided to hold it in Hubben if up to 30 people sign up (otherwise in m-building) and there will be a drop in if it’s not full already. Since we adapt food and place to the amount of people who sign up, you can’t expect there to be a spot and food for you if you drop in. This Sunday, we have something extraordinary in store for you; Together with TGSK, we have planned to play squash in Landala Squash Hall!

There will be eight courts available, which means that 15-20 people will be able to play at the same time. Thus, there will be two separate sets à 45 minutes each in order to make it possible for more people to attend. Equipment and instructors will be available during both sets and participation is free of charge!

Event

The 47th Ludum Dare will run the weekend of 3-4/10.
Because of this, we will be hosting an event for IT students that want to participate in the game jam.
If you haven't heard about Ludum Dare or don't know what a game jam is, read here.

On Friday evening we will have "pre-gamejam" mingle, to discuss different tools and ideas, and also prepare software and other resources.
On Saturday we have a game jam the entire day, with free brunch between 11:00 and 13:00.
No event is planned on Sunday.
